Before and After
We enjoy sharing a lot of our dog training success stories, but we realize that you never get to see the dog when they first come to us. Part of this is because it is difficult to record a misbehaving dog and still try to work with him. Here we tried to get a sort snippet for you!
So, we have had all types of dog personalities. Most untrained dogs share the same bad behaviors: pulling on the leash, barking at the door or windows, jumping up on people, disliking the kennel, and the list goes on. We’re here to train new behaviors and correct unwanted behaviors.
But before we do that, enjoy this video transformation of a recent board & train dog going from crazy on the leash to a loose leash within what seems like a few minutes. We use the prong collar to get the dog to communicate with us for this first walk. You can see how we use a “pop” to correct the pup to let him know that he when too far ahead of us. Within an hour (really less than that), this pooch was walking on a loose leash very successfully. The rest of the week is going to be reinforcing this newly learned behavior!
